This project was for us to create 4-page magazine spreads including the cover. There are two different spreads for a food magazine named “The Salty”. For the first Magazine spread, I wanted to make a more modern design. This spread also includes original type made by me (see “Nirvana”). It also includes vector illustration I made of Ramen balancing like stones to correspond to the article. On the 3rd Page, It includes an ad by me from a previous project (Steamfish).For the 2nd spread, I took a more traditional approach. I made sure to study traditional food magazine covers by including lots of type and colors. This spread also includes an illustration I made of different types of noodles that I turned into mandalas to match the article.
